For spring we came up with a softer version of the classic smoky eyes that can easily translate from day to night.
First, apply concealer and primer on the top eyelid and on the border of the bottom lashes. Apply a light layer of a light color eyeshadow, then using a MAC blending brush 217 apply the paint pot color on the base of the eyelid and lower lash line.
Then, using MAC fluff brush 213 apply the darkest shade of your eyeshadow palette on your lid. Apply same color to the bottom lash line with a MAC mini shader brush 228. Apply a layer of a shimmery brown color with a the fluff brush from the top most part of the lid to the beginning of the crease. Using the mini shader brush apply shimmery color to the bottom lash line.
Finally, with a MAC tapered blending brush 224 and a lighter shimmery brown blend from the inner side of the eye out and upward over the crease to blend all colors. Finish by using a light color as a highlight. Apply the color with a MAC large shader brush 252 all along the bottom of your brow. Apply mascara and make sure to brush the lashes using a lash brush to separate the lashes.
And there you have it, simple steps to create a classic look that can be used during the spring, effortless and simple.
